Central Newport
Another expansion is underway in central Newport, bringing additional fiber coverage to residential streets just west of the downtown commercial district.
This project includes portions of the neighborhood around West 1st, West 2nd, West 3rd, and West 4th Streets, extending north toward Walnut Street and south toward Highway 2.
North Newport
Core Fiber is also expanding into more of northern Newport, including neighborhoods between downtown and the Pend Oreille River.
This project covers residential areas near Walnut Street and Larch Street, along with surrounding streets extending northwest toward the river. It also includes properties farther west along the northern edge of town.
